Pietro was born and raised in Italy on the West Coast, close to the French Riviera border where he still lives today with his Family. At the age of 14, Pietro commenced his studies in Nautical College and after continued in the Navy Academy where he started his career at sea as a Cadet on the military ship called “Audace”. After two years of service in the Navy, Pietro decided to switch in the Merchant Marine and he started to work for Costa Cruises as Engineer Officer for about 11 years.

After that period he decided to accept a job as Chief Engineer in the Super Yacht Industry, working on board different private and charter Yachts from 35m to 90m including the fleet of the Saudi Arabia Royal Family.

In 2017 he entered into the Norwegian Cruise Line Family where he spent 9 years and sailing in China, Japan, Alaska, US coast, Bermuda, Caribbean and Mediterranean, before returning into Yacht Industry.

During his vacation Pietro likes to travel, specifically exploring the Countries where he has never been before. He is also a keen runner, crossfit athlete, snowboarder and deep diver. He enjoys taking care of his garden, meet new people and cultures and experiment different food and dishes as culinary experience.
